For in-person retreat experiences—yes, you’ll attend at the Texas Hill Country location. For virtual consultations and digital toolkits, you may participate from anywhere in the U.S.

After the initial assessment session, subsequent sessions will include a gentle check-in, a nature-based activity/creative practice [the experiential portion to be dictated by assessment findings and treatment needs], mindfulness/grounding, a close-out, and a take-home tool.

Our services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. You remain under the care of your primary medical provider. We specialize in recreation-therapy-informed, holistic, nature-based support for pain self-management — empowering you rather than prescribing medicinal treatment.

Cancellations within 24–48 hours prior to service will be eligible for credit towards the next session, and no shows or last-minute cancellations will incur a $100 Cancellation fee.

Due to irregular scheduling and limited availability, following late arrivals or 5-15 minutes may be accommodated for full-length sessions. Late arrivals of more than 30 minutes will only receive partial services, and lateness of 35 minutes or more will incur a cancellation fee.

General preparedness recommended for all outdoor activities (adequate water, safe walking shoes, light layers, etc. Light rain may slow the general pace of outdoor events for safety and may be restricted to covered outdoor areas or indoor alternatives, optional. Hikes during lightning conditions will be rescheduled. If unsafe weather circumstances persist during the session, an indoor alternative option will be offered before the meeting. The client can opt to rain-check for the outdoor session on a different date.

Currently we operate outside of insurance networks and do not bill HSA/FSA directly. Payments are processed via credit/debit card or Cash App/Venmo. If you wish to use HSA/FSA funds, please consult your plan administrator — we can provide a receipt if your plan qualifies our services as eligible, but we do not guarantee eligibility or direct reimbursement.

If completing the Recreation Therapy Assessment prior to services, accessibility needs should be covered. Small group activities should include accessibility needs for all participants involved (hard of hearing, low visual acuity, unsteady gait, accessible path needed).
